50 miles when I say it doesn’t sound like very far. But when I got on the road, it sure felt like a long way. The joys of perspective, I suppose.
Anyway, 35 miles on the new bike felt like 15 on the old bike. Thank you Kris at http://www.Trekaf.com (leaving google feedback momentarily). The last 15 weren’t nearly as fun, since I was getting low on water and hadn’t brought enough fuel. This week I will carry more with me.
Anyway, training is going well. Hopefully we’ll get some good drone footage over the weekend and can post some video for your viewing pleasure. 🙂 5 weeks from today we leave the comfort zone of Utah. Not ready yet, but I will be!

Trying to get my head around a series of 50 mile rides on a bike.
Or even one.
Thinking callouses on one’s tush!

Nah. There’s enough between the skin and the bone to make it not develop callouses. 🙂 But it’s a big deal, for sure! I forget that it’s a big deal.
