I must admit to being a little annoyed when I realized Randy was taking photos of me walking up one of two of the most heartbreaking hills I’ve ever attempted. But when I woke yup this morning I had a moment of clarity and realized that it was on those hills that I proved to myself that I’m doing this, come what may. The challenges will be hard. Um, duh. It’s not just the miles that make it something not everybody does. I post the series because I want to remember that having your heart broken means you get to rest for a few seconds and then get back on the bike and ride.
Making progress on a goal feels good in spite of hurdles and “lessons” of the journey.. Or is it because of them?
